Bond Bug sells for £29,582 at Anglia Car Auctions

If ACA's sale this weekend is anything to go by the classic car market remains in rude health despite the ravages of a year old pandemic. There was spirited bidding and many cars surpassed their estimate. One certain record is the £29,852 paid for a 1973 Bond Bug 700 ES. The car was sold without reserve, and was a fully rebuilt example which had previously been off the road for decades which accounts for the low mileage of 40,951 miles. The bidding just didn't look as if it would stop, but the car eventually reached £29,582 including premium, a new record for a Bond Bug.
