About the Allard J1

Sidney Herbert Allard formed his motor company in 1945 and was based in Clapham SE London. He produced a small competition car called the JI from 1946 to 1947. It is a small 2 seater powered by a Ford V8 engine, with a 100 inch wheelbase. A total number of only 13 J1’s were made and only 6 are known to still exist.
